Selecting the right company for your home remodeling project can be one of the hardest phases in the building process. How do you know if you’ve got the right company for your project? Can you trust them to do what needs to be done and that they will educate you about the decisions you will be making? Is the company structured to help with the design and the building? If you do your homework to decide how you want your project to be handled, you can make the project a great experience and one you will be happy with for years to come.

Starting renovations on your home can be very confusing if you do not know where to start! we have compiled some printable tools that you can use to guide you in the right direction. Many people do not know that there are some specific questions that you need to ask a contractor before you hire them. such as "Are you bonded and insured?" or "Have you ever done a project like this before?" This is why we have come up with 5 questions that you need to ask a contractor before you hire them.

The first steps in all of this of course is deciding exactly what you want done. Getting organized with a project calender can be quite helpful! This gives you a day by day outlook on what needs to be done and when to complete it.
